Low Level Light Therapy
This page is dedicated to Ciarra Capri, as she was the reason that I became interested in low level light therapy. She had just had a very serious operation {a double tenodomy or complete resection of both deep flexor tendons) because of a bout with Potomac Fever which left her seriously foundered. The operation however turned out poorly, and I tried everything I could to make her comfortable. I saw this amazing piece of equipment being used at a reining show and asked about it. I tried it on my own chronic tennis elbow and by the 4th treatment was relieved (permanently!) of my pain.
I was so impressed that I immediately purchased the machine. We have since seen low level light therapy produce many wonderful results. Unfortunately, by the time I had purchased it Capri had already plateaued (healing had stopped) for several months and, although I did ease her discomfort, I could not restart the healing process – it had simply been too long since the injury. But, purchasing it for her did open the door for me to help many other horses and I am continuing to do so. I now use it in addition to the sports massage, a very complimentary combination of treatments.

Fees & Scheduling
As there are so many variables involved in these types of treatment (ie, full or partial massage, type and location of injury, location of animal, etc.) it is best to call or e-mail for an appointment and fee estimate. |
